The Crocus HDSL Dual Port is a dual port HDSL Desktop modem offering a solution for connecting users with both a G.704 framed application (e.g. a PABX) and another data application. The modem is equipped with a fixed G.703 connector. This interface is configured for fractional E1 operation, where a user defined number of time-slots are filled-out. The remaining bandwidth is available on a second user-selectable data interface. This interface can be plugged into the slot located at the rear of the modem and allows the operator to use the equipment with different physical interfaces. Available serial interfaces conform to recommendations V.35, V.36, RS-530 and X.21. Oriented towards LAN applications are the bridge and the IP router interfaces which provide direct Ethernet connectivity.
